Wow. September. I know I'm the only one who ever looks at this, so...
Dear Diary....
Not.
Here's the pictures...a.k.a. the only reason that I maintain (sort of) this blog. Righto!

July-September 2008

crazy fiend Jazz

she has so many toys!

hmmm black and white? not my doing. Jazz.

Kasper, maybe? I can't tell.

I really haven't updated for a while, so I'm just going to add some pictures that I've found on our old camera. The puppies are doing pretty well--they got some hamburger & rice for breakfast due to Jazz having digestive trouble. I'm not sure how that's supposed to help, but that is what the vet said to do.
At some point this summer, we took the pups with us when we went to visit Mom's parents in Ocean City. I tried to find pictures of this trip, but I think the only ones in existence are on my phone. They really got to digging in the sand! We also took them to Aunt Marcy's house for Independence Day, but I cannot find any pictures of that, either. Jazz was very frightened by the fireworks, but Kasper curled up inside my sweatshirt and was fine. Ahh, puppy love!
We left them with a friend for two weeks while we went on vacation for two weeks in August. I really got to missing them. I had spent the night before we left with a friend--'Breaking Dawn' release party!--so I was without my pups for a day longer than my family. :(  They were very happy to see us when we got back! While we had been gone, they had nary an accident and were doing well in their crates all day. (That changed when we got back.) But life with two Terriers/Terrors is great!

First Bath & Outside Pen

Hmm. Apparently I have a correction to make. I was informed that their names are spelled Kasper and Jazz. Not a big difference, but I guess that's what my parents want it to be.

Well, the puppies had their first bath the other night. I didn't actually participate in the event, nor did I take the pictures, but I did see it. Poor things were shivering when we finished, and I don't think that they particularly liked the water. Can't say that I blame them. It was an outside bath.

You were next, Jazzy...

The next day, Dad set up a little pen outside for the pups to roam around in. Here are a few pics of them playing and romping.

Those are the latest pictures. I'm sure Maris will get shutter-happy again soon!

First Day

6/13/2008

After we got out of camp, Dad, Maris, and I went and picked up the puppies, whose names are officially Casper and Jaz. The wild little rascals barely stayed in the box on the way home. But once we got home, we acquainted the puppies with the cats. Jaz wasn't too impressed. She's the little barker of the two. But we got the collars on (which they don't like) and got them into their cages.

When Mom got home, we tried walking them around on their leashes. It's difficult for two people to walk the two of them, let alone just one person. The puppies are everywhere, tangling the leashes. That night, they loved to lay around and play in the family room. They seem to love the carpet, and it seems to be one of the coolest rooms in the house. That's also where their cages are, currently. Below are pictures (taken by Maris) of their first day in their new home.

I think that these are both Jaz...but it's hard to tell them apart without seeing the collars.
